Impossible Without Faith

Hebrews 11:6

And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek him.

How often have you found yourself halfheartedly praying a prayer for the day? Or maybe uttered a quick blessing over food as you indulged in your meal; which wouldn't be on your table if it weren't for God? All too often we live life as Jesus Incorporated, only letting Him in on certain aspects of our lives and especially hearts. Then we wonder why God isn’t moving the mountains in our lives. The Lord spits out those who are lukewarm (Revelation 3:16; So then. because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of my mouth). You can’t live with one foot on solid ground and the other deep in quicksand, eventually the quicksand will overtake you and pull you in completely as you’ve lost strength to withstand its pull. For the impossible in our lives we must look to the one who claimed the impossible victory. However, the only way you'll get to claim that same victory is by living on fire for Jesus, every moment of every day. Don’t sit at the table too long waiting for God to give you a sign to live for Him! You'll end up lukewarm and spat out of His mouth. We must maintain the fire by jumping into the fire with Christ. If you're crying out to God wondering why change isn’t coming, why you still feel the same you did a year ago, why you still have darkness in your heart, start with your heart. Give yourself heart checks multiple times a day, to be sure you’re staying on the straight and narrow, not going left or right. Compare your heart to the Fathers, always seeking how to reflect His better, and not our own. Sincerely seek the Father to see the impossible made possible. He’s on your side, He’s in your favor, He’s your advocate, but only when we are all in, with both feet on the solid ground, will we see Him move in our lives. For “whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.” Don't find yourself an enemy of God, for that is not somewhere to be, especially when committing a year to serving Him.
